I’m a designer, mom of two, and art teacher!

I grew up drawing and painting my whole life, and I studied Media Interaction Design in college and graduate school.

In this AI-driven world, I believe visual thinking and design thinking are more important than ever. Children need opportunities to imagine, create, and invent the things they may need in the future.

That’s why I believe art is so powerful. Art isn’t just about making something beautiful. Through hands-on projects, children learn to take an idea from their imagination and turn it into something real. They experiment, solve problems, make mistakes, and try again.

For me, art is a way to help children become creative thinkers, problem solvers, and confident makers.
